The placement of the tall window at the center is bothering me, it looks like a photo frame at first somehow
If it is a windows use a different background(although) this doesn't make for a good design
Same for the picture you used for the windows on the left, you need to sell it more

It honestly depends on how much time you wanna spend on this, I would also spend more time on metals and plastics to make them look good.
And again if the client requested any of what I mention feel free to move on, I have done the same in the past.

    Best,

Thanks for your comments Muhammed! The window placement is determined by the architect.

My GF said the same about the view thru the window. It is on a densely forested steep hillside so only trees will be seen thru the two windows in this room. The photo is actually from the site but agreed, it doesn't look very good.

I don't think there is any plastic. Porcelain, honed marble (matte finish), quartz counter top (also matte), metals are mostly brushed nickle.

All the rage, apparently. How odd - I would have thought it'd be an absolute nightmare to maintain.

Also, what I find amusing and which is of course everywhere, due to manufacturing processes, is the increasingly obvious tiling on
stone walls. You can see it in some of those images but it's everywhere in the city I live in, with all the new builds...all moulded
aggregate blocks that just look crap alongside the historic stone that has of course now been depleted, or is too expensive for
greedy developes to want to use

I would never have that in my home for the reason you state. However if you pay someone else to clean....

As for cost, some seem to try to find the absolute most expensive choices possible. I once tried to reproduce driveway in an exterior rendering that was to be built using antique cobbles taken from the silk road in china.

After some research, it seems they seal the stone to avoid any issues with mould etc.
                Makes sense

yeah it's sealed, but that does not prevent the dirt, grime, scum, mineral deposits and other substances from accumulating in all the crevices and on the horizontal surfaces? So.... you pay your cleaning company go in with a power washer..... I guess.
