well, since dansimon started things off...
here is my entry into the bombay shapphire comp. this is for the US, the winners will compete internationally in Milan.

Ther must be a nice job for you at the Murano Venetian Glass business. Went there recently and found they desperately need some fresh designing....

i was also in Murano in 2000. amazing place with some unbelivable artisans.

that is actually the exciting part of the comp. the top 3 people get thier design made at a glass blowing studio. seeing as i havent convinced my wife to convert the 2nd bedroom in our condo into a furnace, i dont see myself having the resources to create something like that on my own.

Asango! Great glass man!


I think the judges where blowen away by the cg renders cause i found out about a week ago that i made top 10. The Local magazine wich is hosting the comp here in South Africa is publishing articals about all the designers and there glasses next year january. AFter that the final judging is in Feb and then.... See ya in Italy!! wouldnt that be nice.
