this camera is just a view i had at the time. absolutely no time was spent creating it...lol

looks nice Percy. While you're checking the cabinet above the fridge, how is the microwave held up? and is there a tiled splashback to the stove top? That is a legal requirement in these parts

updated progress. Had to take time off it due to other pressing projects. still phantom lights, but never received RCP from clients so screw em...lol

pardon the noise and stuff, still just rendering out low res tests.

          Really nice Percy!!!

Is it mostly light with a few big vray lights?

they're all cans using ies files, for the ceiling, one vray light behind the camera and then the local underlights are vray lights as well. Ive since removed the ies lights showing on the walls, the boss didn't like it.

Looks great! What were your render times like?

The image is looking very nice, but there is something bothering me – Is that a microwave over your stove?

Looking great Percy!, and 30 min. rendering times. I'm impressed.

I think the image has a great contrast/lighting balance. How much Post did you do? Can you talk about your color mapping and mapping settings used? And maybe your PS tweaks if any.

yes it is. Does it not look like one? I think its a combo microwave/vent hood thingymajigger. Anyways, what the client wants, the client gets.

Bullo: My colormapping is linear multiply with Dark:2.1 and Light 1.0. I do a fair amount of my work in photoshop, even more when Im splitting up alot more light passes.

This is what it looks like straight from render:

and just to be a nice guy, heres the photoshop file. 1.5mb

                        HeHe, Cool, Thx,
                        How did you create layer5?
was this tweaked from the origional image in PS, or was this a renderd channel? Is this one of the rendered light passes you are talking about?

After a second look it looks like its the direct light pass channel?
