        Great work mate.. really impressive.

That lost shot with the debri swalling up the car and flipping it over.. was that particle flow or something more whacky?
        Its really interesting.

Yep pretty impressive reel from a company wide standpoint (and please forgive me if I'm wrong here.) I'd like to see a shot breakdown as well.

what's going on with the T-rex left would it be ancle? it sort of looks like a cut. Is it part of the story or is it mesh issue? Not that it really matters. I didn't see it the first times so what are the chanses of anyone seeing it on air.

Cheers for the feedback folks, I'm going to do a new edit in the next few days as I didn't have access to some of the other jobs I had done - I want to do a different intro (that one was done at 1.30 in the morning so it's not the best) and scale back on the milk stuff - I didn't model or animate on it so I don't want to be too heavy on that...

@lander: It's actually part of the model itself so it's there intentionally.

@juju: yeah gonna do the breakdown today, the milk stuff that I did was largely technical and cos of that I'm gonna cut out around half of it - I didn't model or animate it so I don't wanna give people the impression I did it all

@daforce: The car was an audi model I made years ago that I made a realflow "pour" element for - the rest of the wave was a combination of realflow elements, particle flow for all of the flying debris and stock footage of running dirty water very cleverly composited by ruairi.

@instinct - Nearly went with the uber trendy music but the trashy rock stuff is always fun. My rule is you're not allowed to use tredy music unless everything on your reel is good work - this one I'm happy with but my last showreel used a dean martin version of frosty the snowman, the one previous used fly me to the moon by julie london...

@dbuchhofer - It's a track called "callbacks" by a band called "we are scientists". It would have been really bitchy to my old company screenscene if I had used another track of theirs called "this scene is dead" though...

@emptyvoxel - yep, on the way.

@morbid - Will probably end up in canada at some point next year, allan mckay is organising a tour of max ops going east to west and I've a few friends working for the embassy - It seems to be getting very like the type of work I love in soho, london but the quality of life is nicer.
