hey guys,
here's are some images from a personal project. it's a house i designed and had built a few years ago, but i've always come back to it to work on lighting and work out some details i wasn't happy with in the final construction...still working on the details...comments welcome.
i'm pretty pleased with the overall lighting (one sunlight and hdri skylight), but there are some persistent dark splotches that i can't seem to get rid of (notice around door frames and trim). i can make them slightly less obvious by cranking up the min / max rates, but then my render times go through the roof. right now a 1600x1200 render takes about 17min using IR and LC. any technical suggestions would be welcome.
