ah, I guess the water is pretty close then. I'd say a little bit of blurring in photoshop on the water, it looks alot more crisp than the water in the reference image, soften it up a bit and I think it would be there

The water line on the concrete, yours looks like a noise pattern, I think that could be a little bit crisper, more like the shapes of the reference instead of a general noise/pattern?

        wow, what an amazing render!

how did you achieve those shadows? is that actual geometry casting shadows, or some kind of mapping? or both?

it's amazing how such a small touch as leaves on the ground can add so much to a render, great work, really impressive!

same, I much prefer the renders to the photo's!

In terms of the design, I really like those curved concrete balustrades/handrails with glass between. The old entrance was terrible!

Personal preference I think would be to have a bit more contrast and more defined dark areas to get it looking more like a photo but at the moment it does look very natural and realistic. lots of awesome details, very nice!

I wish it as that easy, (but then its the challenge we love)
Saluto, you could make my day by telling me what colour mapping you used, anyone care to contribute how to get such soft shadows with Vray Sun?

                          Thanks,
                          Tom
