  • Stages of light

hi guys long time no post...
this is my latest work i wanted to create a scene to capture diferent lighting from a single still.
the texturing work is all made from scratch most of it hand painted to create difuse, reflection, and displacement map correctly.
all the models have reflections even the walls and mud.
there are about 12millon poligons and all textures have displacement map.
    i hope you like it

I agree with Kr0no, but maby it needs some DOF or something, it just looks like a small model or a really small sense of scale... either way great job

so very well done. I just wish where the curb met the street was a little more looked after. what i mean to say is the gap between the two is just too nice and perfect. break it up and add some rocks, pebbles, trash to help break it up also. What the other said about a little dof is a good crit as well.

wow! awesome amount of detail. must have taken a while?
the stencils stand out nicely against the decayed building.
            awesome texture work!!!!
plants look realistically wild, which i find hard to acheive. what plants did you use?
congratulations. looks like it could be a still from a movie or animation. probably takes a while to render....

Very nice job indeed. My only crit would be the curbs in the front that were already mentioned. Sadly the first image is already offline due to overtraffic. You might want to up them to a not traffic limited imagehost. Or contact me via PM then i can mirror them for you.

              Regards,

the 1st and last are spot on in my oppinion. not much DOF needed for that. the others are really cool. but i live the first and last best.

                          Very impressive.

Is all the greenery.. plants.. etc.. mesh plants? or 2d?
If they are mesh, what collection are they from? or did you make them all yourself
