  • Hans Grohe Ad

Hi, I'm new here. This is my first image in here. I actually took the image from Hans Grohe advertisement in magazine, just want to learn more, especially about lighting. Can you guys please kindly critisize and comment on the image, so that i can improve. Thank you.

    I really like it.
Only thing i'd change is to have white through / behind the blinds, not black - it makes no sence as you have light coming in...
other than that, nice balance, good colours, clean render - well done!

id make it brighter, it seems to overall lack a little contrast.

I think you need to light up the water some more. It doesnt really stand out as is now. You want go get the feel that it is all about the hansg product, which has the water 'flow' as a main issue =)

Hey Shuriken, killed any Shinobi lately?

The image looks pretty good and realistic. Good job.
              Kind Regards,

May I see the reference ?
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

                  hi,
ive got the ref pic in front of me, its a very good likeness.
                  the modelling is excellent.
main difference i see is the lighting levels.
light through the window is brighter, and the internal light is brighter and warmer in the advert. highlights and flowers are brighter in the advert. the shadow under the sink is much darker on your image.
i dont know if youre using linear workflow, but if not it would probably help.
you've inspired me to try doing some copies of adverts myself
