  • Dodge Viper

I love CAD data, and Chrysler made me happy and gave its models for free to all of us.

Personally, I don't like Viper, but love the feeling of agression.
Now I'm trying to get that feeling, by replicating photos, widely available.

    So - the first one.

    And the second one.

    The last on 2008

    Happy New Year!

I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

looks good! An odd angle though, how about some more traditional angles?

Yea, CAD is nice, especially for headlight details!

why displacement? (I assume you mean the tires?) for the treads? or for the sidwalls? Sidewall you can very easily get away with a bump map, treads are easy enough to model

                Very very good render

Hey Paul very good render now let's show the tyres too the good ones i saw done by u
Force your pc to show them
happened to me too something similar, in the first frame of six frame to render, a diplaced wall was calulated (displaced wall in an interior) and in the next frames disappeared.
                Congratulations

is there a place to download cad data, or is it just for your company?

                      found another thread

can anybody convert the .ma files to 3dsmax?

The only problem is weight - about 550mb
Also not sure, if it allowed by 'em.

a bit off topic, but looking at the interrior of this car, man its soo primitive and dissapointing. This 88,000 dollar car's interrior is as primitive as my dad's crystler intrepid, which is worth 15k new. I mean come on!.. no wonder they are going to shit these days.
Also overall, quite ugly looking car, thats my opinion though.
                            Paul, nice renders!

                              Thx Morbid

Yeah. Me too disslike this car. Overall impression is a bit... khem ugly. But... It can be quite impressive, as there's no car these days that looks like that

And about interior - yeah. Simple. Maybe too simple In this particular model interior is quite low on polys. Which is dissapointing.
I just can't seem to trust myself
