    Hi Paul

I downloaded the dodge models ages ago and only just got around to having a look at them. What did you find was the best workflow to export from maya into max, FBX or OBJ? I have quickly imported one of the OBJ files that was supplied with the download, and it looks like it needs some work, vertex welding, flipped polys etc.

    Great renders by the way!!

    cheers

We dont have Maya either, however I download the Maya demo (30 day trial) which is fully functioning, and allows you to export.

I am currently trying to work out the best method to get them into max, with the least amount of hassle!

update fbx and go fbx. obj is always the worst choice (besides .3ds maybe :P )

really :P it kills vertexnormal data. Hence a complete no go for CAD originating data. Plus fbx carries more information then just geometry across.
