  • Muffin in packaging

    Was asked to mock up a muffin in it's case for a client, not totally finished this yet, a few strange things going on. Still waiting on feedback from them too.



    They're "healthy" muffins - i think they look gross lol.

    Does the transparent plastic have any thickness?
    It looks like it's distorting muffins behind it too much.

    Pretty good anyway.

        Hi Guys,

        The plastic is only 1 polygon thick if you get me - I'll need to recheck the IOR of the material, I thought I kept it very low like 1.01 but knowing me it could be 1.1 :s

          I would reduce the specularity and reflectivity of the plastic and the thickness. the ior should be fine.

            The way it reads to me is that there is an image of a muffin printed on the packaging rather than a muffin visible through the packaging. Perhaps the packaging could follow the contour of the muffin better.

                  you will need to give the objects a thickness (shell modifier or extrude) for it to refract correctly
