An old model, dusting it off and testing it in Rhino, render seems a bit off - don't know why, must be the lack of sleep...

    Ideas/comments are more than welcome.

    Blueshift,

The edges of your glass are very dark. Do you have double sided enabled in your glass material? Make sure it's disabled and reflect on backside is enabled. Then try to rerender and see if you like the image better.

Thanks Corey, that did the trick. I'll post some renders as soon as I optimize the scene a little.

I like the new material editor's options, nice work guys - now all you have to figure out is how to store them in a central repository.

The track mouse while rendering makes rendering interesting. Vlado, you should add an overlay that lets you play mine sweeper in the VFB - now that's something that no raytracer will ever have

            Hi

The glass material is easy to make. Turn the refraction and reflection colors to white, take the diffuse color to a black and check the fresnel reflection check box. Also make sure that you have "double sided" unchecked in the options or your glass will turn out being very dark.

The white reflections that appear on the glass are from the vray planar lights. Just place them as you would normal lights and make them large.

            That's about it, good luck.

                Re: Coca-Cola

Great job...., the glass and lighting are great, however, I think the coke had a better color in the first render. Antway it is still an excelent work.

Gotta question: how do you change the stamps' properties? I've been able to change font, font color and position, but no options to make it transparent or another color....
