Here is a tryout on an old project.
I am not so pleased about the outcome:
1. walls look grey (RGB=225,225,225)
2. glass is rather dark (thin glass applied)
3. i have trouble with reflectance (fresnel). With a light floortexture reflectance shows but when i apply another darker floortexture reflectance is gone. Applying a double reflectance map doesn't help.
4. I used emitting surfaces in the window openings, because using 'sky' gave bad output.
5. How do i gain more photorealism.
settings: QMC+LC:
-res. 640X480
- noise treshold 0.01
- reinhard colour mapping burn 0.5
- image sampler:subdiv 1 to 50
- light cache: subdiv 600 / interp.samples 5
