    Re: Office

    Hi

Very nice render and lighting, but i can see that there are not enough samples. That black gliches on the ceiling are caused by lack of them. Also that right shelf(cabinet or section) could be textured better

    Good luck,

really nice renders and yes the ceiling needs to be sorted out. very very very realistic, this is almost perfect, what version of vray did you use?

        Re: Office

your render is technically good. However, the content is quite boring and has a negative emotional impact. perhaps it's just my bias. nevertheless, the materials look very cheap, especially the floor. The wood desk, shelf, and table appear to be made from veneered fiberboard.

i understand that your control over the content may have been limited, but how do we judge the aesthetics of such representation, and how should we expect a potential client to react? should our reaction emanate from the awe inspired by a skilled simulation of reality, or should it be based on something more substantive - something more emotionally appealing... ?

        all best wishes,
        pete

Thanks guys for the comments, Edenux and Mr Senator you guys always help me with some tips and suggestions in order to improve my work and i really appreciate that., I will correct the weird effect on the ceiling and definitly look for a better wood texture. Pete i'm glad that you took the time to comment and i know that there are lots of limitations in the scene, i would love to use better finishes for the image but in this excersice the goal was to use the real materials according with the limited budget. Now about the how to judge the image? Well any suggestion, any comment is well received. No matter if it´s about the poor materials, the design or some other issue. ;D

              Re: Office

              Love you renderings buddy!

1- regarding the black glitches on the wall and ceiling, have you tried reversing plane's faces and apply the white color on it? because when we apply a material on one side, the other is still on "default". it happens to me sometimes, and by doing so the problem solve.

2- i think your glass shelving would look more realistic if u apply some "fog color" on it's refraction properties. would produced the greenish effect at the edges. (http://software.asgvis.com/index.php...303&Itemid=480)

3- did u use any bump on the tiles? I've been trying to get something like yours, but never been able to produced a good one. could u share? hehe...thank you in advanced.

                Re: Office

Wow thanks Keanuar for the tips, actually i never thought that applying the color on the reverse plane can solve the problem of the glitches but know i will try that.

About the glass shelving i only use the basic glass material and that's why it doesn't look well but definitly with a fog color it will look better.

With the bump i used the same tile material with a multiplier 0.1 and that's it. I can share it if you want to, only send me your email and i will do it and thanks for the comments.

                  Re: Office

i think it would look more natural and realistic if you close the wall behind you.

Thanks for the comment Andeciuala, you're right, closing the wall will avoid the reflected light on the wall with the shelvings.
