  • Interior Renderings - seeking critique and tips!

    Hi,

I'm fairly new at VRay and have had quite a bit of technical problems so far. I think I'm getting close to how I would like my scenes to look but am still having a little trouble in some areas. Any comments on how to improve would be great!

In this scene, the material used in the tub and toilet is the same, but they are rendering in different colours. What could be causing this? And how can the shadows on the floor be softer?

The light falling off the shower door is very sharp and finishes with a line. How can it be softened or faded out?

There is a spot of light above the window which I did not find in any other scenes, I'm wondering what could be causing this reflection.

What is the best way to render interior with views of the exterior so that lighting does not wash out or darken either areas?

    Thanks so much!
