Turn on Subpixel mapping and Clamp in CM (Color mapping) to avoid this "buggy" white dots.

I'm having trouble getting HDRIs to work.... When I set up an HDRI as a texture for a Hemi light (named "IBL"), I get an error: "TypeError: not all arguments converted during string formatting" at line 2078.
When I set them in the World panel as textures (ENV_BG, ENV_GI, etc etc) then nothing shows up, it's a black scene.
Any tips would be much appreciated!
