    Looks great Ivo!
Do the falling "splashes" affect the surface of the water?

It needs wind from the side. Having explosion in the sea without any wind doesn't look believable.
Could we have a Phoenix wind someday? I know that we can use any standard forces, but they are really slow.

yes, but the effect is not visible because the low angle. btw since one week the splash affects the air too, because the dense splash falls too slow without this option. there is no separate control for this, it is included into "affect grid" option, previously named "affect liquid".

we really are planing to introduce our forces, the funny part is that from the very very beginning of the project we had them, but they was removed because max have own forces and we decided that is better to support maxes forces. for now you can use the mapper set to affect the velocity channel, with plane color map.

Definitely not the easiest shot to make.
For me the beginning looks great, maybe the column could be even stronger and like Lasse said, the falling water needs just a variation by wind.
