Its quite cool, but the tree branch that appears to be sticking inside the boys mouth is creeppyy! :P

I appreciate the DOF... but its not exactly what I was pushing for in past couple images Maybe just use Gauss filter set to 2-3?

I saw that branch, but I thought I would be the only one to notice it.

Looks like you're doing a fake DOF - all of the trees should be oof, not just the tops... that would help to foreground the play structure. As it is now, the image just feels too busy. Lighting and dramatic viewpoint are nice

The loco is nice, but the whole scene looks a bit dodgy to me. Looks like a scene straight out of a horror movie. Playground in the middle of nowhere, a guy appearing any second full of scars and couple knifes attached to a glove. Like one of those slowmo scenes. The "Chucky" looking boy (doll) in blue with the over white face doesn't help either.

The rendering is not bad, just the "mood" to me is a bit off compared to your usual stuff
          Kind Regards,
          Morne

Yes. The little boy didn't turn out as nicely as i would have liked. I struggled with the entire scene and I had a lot of photochopping to make it work. I might revisit it later, but for now, it's done.

Too late for comments if it's done but if not:

              1) Contrast on the kids face is very harsh, and in my eyes what makes him creepy

              2) The train's colors are washed out/pale. A little work there could make it more inviting.
