  • Cadbury Dairy Milk Icons

This is a project we started almost two years ago and is finally out on the shelves

These are icons that we created for the various Cadbury Dairy Milk bars/brands around the world. Obviously, all rendered in V-ray there were a few different approaches needed for the different types of product. Some items are 100% CG, whereas others are a combination of photography and renders.

I'd like to post a more comprehensive breakdown of these but unfortunately the nature of the project won't really allow for that. Sufficed to say there's nothing really complicated going on with any of the materials, lighting or modelling. Some are poly modelled, some zbrush. Most mats have SSS to varying degrees but again, nothing ground breaking on the technical side.

    Cheers!

Wow these really make me want to eat them. Maybe they are not complicated as you say, but I'd say you hit the chocolate spot on...and the rest are great too!

              Thanks guys!

Brendan - I have PLENTY here if you want some The biggest downside to this project was that I had stacks of chocolate on and around my desk the whole time. It sounds great until you step on the scales and realise you've put on nearly 2 stone in 2 years!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

There are a few more that are yet to be released which I can't show yet, in the mean time here's an advert (which we had nothing to do with I must stress!) which shows some of them on the the bars (in Australia).

My daughter recently went on a school trip to Cadbury World (some tenuous link with the Aztecs I think!). Maybe she saw these?
                              Kind Regards,
