      Hey Glorybound, Thanks......the background is made from several photos to resemble the exact location where the gas station is going to be build. For this i used streetview to snip the background from the location and then build it up with highres photos and a new sky.

        I really like the whole atmosphere of the first render. Great image composition, lighting and color corrections.

          Nice.

          How did you go about the sand? Looks like a nice displacement? The sandy grasses are great as well - stock?

            Thanks guys!

            The sand is partly modeled terrain and the rest of the smaller details like in the foreground are displacement. The grasses i modeled myself as i wanted to create something with as much models of my own as possible watching the budget.

                    Love the first image, looks fantastic. Do you have any wireframes/raw/clay renders of any of these? Would be nice to see how much is CGI and how much is photoshop/post.
