There is a "Fur" panel with "Width" parameter - doesn't it work for you?

hmm I have requested an access for vray nightly's but there is no respond but question why I need this ;(
So perhaps that's the reason why my preview is not working. Anyway

Awesome textures bro! I'll try another background image and composition and add more scratches on metal boots and it will look 10 points! Keep it up

                  Thank you

In fact only bacground image is the sky. Pillars and "ruins" are done my.
About scratches, i have tried to mix some image textures using dirt as factor, but when i plug this into bump slot, dirt caused some strange thinks. Anyway, recently I have update my vray to niglties build and I am going to check if it still happpens.

Ok! Also you could use vertex paint to paint the dirt edges and parts you want to mix, and use a node call Mesh Vertex Channel, it will allow you to use vertex paint properties and use it as a factor to mix different material with the Layered node.

                    greetings.
