  • A newbie one more time

    Hello Guys.
    My name is Omar Estévez.
I've been a Vray for Sketchup user since 2008.
Lately the amount of polygons that we needed to render increased, so i decided to take the 5SRW training for 3ds Max.
Here i'm once again a newbie and i come to you guys to receive critics and comments.
I see the work that some of you are doing and i have to say it's amazing.
So here i let you some of my first renders using 3ds Max and Vray.
As i'm used to, i modelled everything in Sketchup and then imported it into 3ds Max.
So, what do you guys think?
What do yo think i can make to improve?
    Have a terrific day!

all look spot on! maybe a little to clean, at least for the exterior, but everything else is really good.

      Well, thanks for your reply!
I usually add noise and chromatic aberration in photoshop. Actually i did it in every single one of the images i just posted... i guess i'll just add a little bit more

I was thinking more VRay Dirt, or even better, RichDirt.

          Hi Omar,

I'm guessing Bobby means that you don't attend to the landscape very much. Your first image in particular is just floating. If you look at examples of other renders on this forum, you'll see some very realistic ground detailing.

I use this, but I try to keep it very subtle

Ok, i understand. It's about the ambient oclussion.
Also the enviroment. I know about that, i'll work on my landscapes.
              thank you!
