Some early proofs. The walls will be Board and Batten and the roof will be standing seam. Other than modeling, or using a displacement, is there a better way to get the roof and walls in? I saw that Batzal Software has a standing seam tutorial, but there doesn't seem to be a 2015 version available. Typicall, I just splice and extrude, but it gets tedious and I am hoping that there is a better way.

Why cant you use 2d displacement? your options are pretty much that or modeling.
Maybe you could use floor gen... you'd have to detach pieces and lay them flat first though.
You could also use deconstructer - http://populate3d.com/products/legacy-plugins/
Again you'd have to detach the pieces though. Personally i'd displace, it's a simple detail.

With this architect, she is very specific with her designs, and I need total control over each piece of wood. Slicing it is going pretty quickly.

Did you buy the forest pack with Railclone bundle? Then you can use Railclone with the clipping area function. Gives you complete control. Too bad batzal stopped updating, I used to use it too, but in the end not enough control.

I like the atmosphere, must be up high if the clouds are that close. One thing that's disturbing is the windows. I don't know if it's backplates you're using or of it's post? But the perspectives don't match up.

Are you using vertex paint for the path to the house?

You know, I spend so much time cut/pasting interior spaces. I thing placing future might be faster and better. The path is negative geometry with Forest Pro, which is awesome.

I really like it - especially the grass and particularly the scatter of the daisies - I use FPP rarely, so struggle with getting a really nice grass - is that a preset lawn within FPP ?

Also, can you explain what you mean by negative geometry regarding the path ?

                      Thanks Bobby.

Thanks... It is a preset. You can pick geometry, in the Forest Pro dialog, to exclude.

I like the composition, the landscaping around looks great but I don't like much the grass with daisies to close to the house.... It looks like a new home with grass that nobody takes care.

A couple more comments, the metal roof seems to need more glossiness and a bit darker... It very pale... And where the stone meets the metal roof should have a copping all around it, so the stone stops about 6 inches from de roof.
