Looking nice. Can't wait to see the final!

    Couple of things:
    1. Looks like you may have 2 suns going on there, or perhaps a sun and a dome light? The shadows on the front of the facade looks way too light to me (unless this is that client you mentioned earlier that wants "no shadows"
    2. The tree in the foreground on the right has crappy textures for leaves. You used it recently in another render also I think. Use a different model or work on those leaves a bit.
    3. The small bushes closest to the building looks a bit too uniform in color. If you can't figure out the tint with forestpack, then just manually make 3 different hue variations of that material and randomly apply it over the various bushes.
    4. Ther car far right at the back, either move it fully into the road or add a driver (or maybe both). Looks like somebody had a bit of a booz up and just left it halfway in the driveway...

The building itself looks well modelled and textures looks nice. The composition is good also, like mr Bean would say, hmmm nice frame
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

What's happening is, I am getting these horrific SU models that take days to fix. I get so frustrated; there isn't anytime to do good work.

As I told you before that I use SU a lot so if you want to could send me the file and maybe I can help you out with some tricks to speed up your process.

The import on this one was okay, it's just all the flipped normals, double geometry and simple shapes made up of dozens of smaller strange shapes.

there are free scripts for that.... to flip back faces, remove materials from them, remove coplanar faces and geometry

                a couple ideas:

                - using a zdepth pass to decrease the contrast/lift up the darks in the distant foliage
                - use a warmer green on the small trees in front of the building

Crazy geometry with very random flipped normal's.

tell them that you had to rebuild most of the model because of those issues and the only way to keep the fee at the same amount is resolving/modeling as it should be....at lease normals pointing to right direction.

I probably should have looked at the SU model closer before I through them a number.

Here is an update. I am fighting something here... He wants sunshine, but nothing over exposed. It has a little dark cave-like feel, but I am not sure how to correct this.

Hm, you are right. It feels as if the image is clamped. What if you reduced the white closer to that grey and than just give everything more exposure?

They already approved the day scene, but I did redo it a little. Here is the day and night versions.

I got this projected based on a night scene I did last month, so I used the same sky that I used in that one. Now, I have to animate from day to night, which I am going to do in After Effects.
