Considering there are "no shadows" I think you did pretty good

Thanks! I don't know why, but there seems to be a haze over everything. It's nothing I did in post; it happens sometimes in the V-Ray.

Almost looks like the lens effects are turned on or env fog maybe?

Try with the sun on the opposite side of the camera ( coming from behind the house). That is what I did with for this house

I'll try that. Now, mind you, they want blue sky and puffy white clouds, too.

I know, I was being sarcastic with the client request.

Being an architect I like shadows with definition to reveal little details and volumes but I really like overcast illumination as well....Your clients want to sell a house like selling a product.(studio studio)....I don't know invent the phrase "The client is always right".

I finally got some feedback - it's funny how the final invoice will do that

The comment was, " why does the image look so flat?" Really!

now, it's your fault!! ....Thanks god nobody requested me renderings without shadows...on the other hand a got a lot comments about colors when they are in the shadow, "It looks darker than the sample I gave it to you" .....or the metal panel doesn't look like the same color...It's reflecting the environment....Or interior designer picking colors under fluorescent lights and they look way different than the real color.

I like the last one a lot better than the previous with the overcast lighting.

She'll hate it; however I haven't heard back yet. She specifically request, "no shadows", and it has shadows

Why not just evening golden hour with very low sun, soft, so it covers most of the building, with soft shadows to the roof and sides?
