    No, because when you put -50 you lose color information, and +50 won't bring that back, it will just move the histogram to the right, making the darkest point in the image 50,50,50 instead of 0,0,0. When you use the brightness adjustment you are reducing the tonal range of your image, and clamping the colors in one of the ends. If you want to want to preserve the range of colors in the image you should use levels adjustment and adjust the gamma instead. The result would look a lot better.

                              Nice! what is your technique to import the geometry?
                              Can you repost the image as a max file that includes the scene(material, lighting, etc..)

                                silo is max but only whit modeling interface so is faster for me then saved it as .3ds open max and import it, all is polygon.
                                abut the glass is just vrayegz material whit blue abs and a panel infront nothing special.
