    nice work!!...simple yet good.

    my only suggestion is add some more reflections on that glass to make it pop out....maybe an HDRI would do it

      hello my dear friend,
      as always you have a very well done work to show us, one of the best things i realize in your jobs is an especial atention with details, and as some people say: "god is in details" i've liked a lot the harmony of your scene and the only thing i didnt understand was about the towel back on the chair.

          cocolas: I agree about the glass. I really worked sooo much on the glass and made hundreds of test renders but I could not succeed

          I tried many things and tweaked all parameters, used vray mat or egz glass....

          there is already a room modeled and textured around this corner. so I didnot use hdri because ther eis already environment.
          do you advise me to use hdri in the environment slot of the glass material? or some othe thing? can you make it clear please?

          silver: thanks the scarf on the chair is creating an illusion because of the camera angle.

              first of all sorry for my english
              I will try to explain :
              as I said in the previous post, this corner is in a room that is already modeled and 80%textured so that was the reason I didnot use HDRI.

              as the room is already built, I used one direct light for the sun-coming from one window entering the woom and room has 4 large windows and I put vray lights in those windoows.
              there is the skylight too.

                I undestand all U say ..only a question your room is completely closed whit ceiling too?
                Please may U tell me how subdivids had used for yours lights (vray lights and direct too)? Photon Map or Irradiance?

                  The wall material is a texture or is a only a mat with noise in bump slot?

                  If it's a texture, do you can share with us?

                    yes the room is closed with a ceiling... of course it may not be very practical to build a whole room around a corner but use HDRI instead.
                    but my scene- actually there is a story behind:
                    I was working on another interior. then I wanted to make a close shot of the corner. but while working on the close shot, new ideas and new objects and this scene appeared
                    so this scene is formed in another scene. like parent scene and child scene.
                    it is irradience for first bounce and direct for second bounces.subdivisions are 12.


                    neo2k1: wall is displacement with a bitmap. I can send you the texture if you mail me.

                          ...sorry My english is poor and so I prefer to show my question with immage ( it's very strange because i can see my immage in the post...)
                          ...and so now I try with words:
                          the subdiv for light U reply me is in the pannel light, it's right? the value 12
                          is for Sampling Subdivs, yes?
                          I asked U the subdv in the pannel Render> System >lightsSettings > Diffuse subdivs
