  • Monster Project 2017

    It's that time of year again! This was my fourth time taking part in the wonderful Monster Project (https://themonsterproject.org) and once again, it was incredible fun!

    Here's Reagan's monster drawing:



    And my interpretation:



    Modelling was, as usual, a mix between Max & Zbrush.

    I thought it would also be fun to make a little behind the scenes process video. Nothing too exciting, but I figured it might be interesting for anyone who wants to see my though process as I layout the scene in 3D...etc.

                    I've got in the habit of saving one file with all the undo history enabled, then incrementally saving ones with it turned off, as I've occasionally had them become corrupt - as the one for the monster did in this project

                    Obviously the one thing about recording time-lapses from your undo history is that it will often not show the mistakes!
