I usually use a good HDRI, but thought I would try V-Ray Sun/Sky to get better render times. I found it really hard to balance lighting, the sun is so bright. A nice overcast HDRI seems easier to manage. I used NEXT Beta 3, so the render times between the two workflows were about the same.

No, but again, I didn't see it until you mentioned it.

The client reviewed and marked things up and no mention of the color cast. I'll correct it, but these are some picky clients. For me, I didn't see it until I looked at it in the thumb preview. I used to always look at things in black and white, upside down and small, but for some reason I stopped doing that.

I prefer Hdri workflow more too ..I just swap my favorites HDRIs to get totally different moods quickly . the render time is the only issue with this workflow tho.
it's possible to get great results with Vray sky/sun you just need to separate them by copying the Vray sky to material editor and change its mode ,intensity /color correct it ...etc.
regarding the project I think the design itself is limiting you here ..these monotonous colors make it hard to get something cool .
Most of your materials seems a bit dull too, I would increase the reflection a bit more .

This next go-around I'll go back to my HDRI. I tried V-Ray Sun/Sky to see if the render times were faster but with Beta NEXT, they were the same. I did like the autoexposure and white balance, however, I had a lot of blown out areas. What you see was major PS balancing with exposure and gradient maps.

I can read something 10X and not see misspellings. I see words differently than most. To write something I have to see the word in my mind (like a flash card) to spell it. It works awesome for things like driving. I can drive somewhere once and always get back because I replay it in my mind, unless, of course, someone chops down that big tree on the corner . Also, I rarely forget where I put things because again, reply it. If I take my time I can spell anything if I have already seen it spelled, but when I rush mistakes happen. If I proof my stuff it is like my mind sees the correct spelling even though it is wrong.
