Hi guys. I previously researched this and thought I knew the answer but today I'm ill and also questioning my decision as to whether the 3970x supports 3200MHz RAM in a 4X32GB kit.
My specific RAM is
G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Series 128GB (4 x 32GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16Q-128GTRG
my mother board is
ASUS Prime TRX40-Pro ATX w/ RGB
I do not plan to ever overclock but I did *maybe* plan to add another 128GB RAM for 256GB total in the distant future. But it seems 2666MHz is max for 256GB RAM so I guess that will be out of the question but am I still Ok at 128GB at 3200MHz?
