hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and vray ..
i come from octane render and i am studying vray.
I have a huge problem and I don't know what to do anymore ..
i have a gpu workstation (and i would like to use vray gpu)
2x 1080 TI hybrid
2x TITAN X (maxwell) hybrid.
ASUS X99 E WS motherboard
i7-5960X 3 GHZ ... etc ..
when i use IPR mode or render i get a blue screen error:
WATCHDOG VIOLATION, after about 5 minutes of work.
I formatted, updated bios and all drivers..contacted vray gpu support (very kind) but i didn't solve the problem ..
do you have any advice? i read in internet that asus X99 E-WS motherboard has problems with multi gpu;
but with other render gpu (i don't want to advertise but explain my problem) i had this error 1 time a day..with vray gpu i can't work ..
I'm wondering if it's a vray / gpu compatibility (titan x and 1080 ti) or a gpu / motherboard hardware problem..etc ...
I would not like to change motherboard, cpu..and then have the same problem ..
thanks for all the advice..I'm going to launch the workstation from the window
thanks..Matteo
