Hi everyone,
our company is upgrading some pc.
We basically know what we want but we have problems figuring out which gpu we want.
Most important is good viewport performance within 3ds max.
as of now we consider 3 configurations:
rtx a5000
rtx 5000 ada
rtx 4090
our scenes have huge amount of data. that s why we use standard vray. gpu is not used for rendering, except denoiser.
So for best viewport performance one would think the newest rtx 5000 ada gpu should be the fastest. but from what i understand they have more vram but are slower than the older rtx a5000? (please correct me if im wrong)
And if so..why shouldnt we use the much faster rtx 4090 with the same vram compared to the rtx a5000.
im confused
thank you for your help
