    Heh, what a discussion...
It takes me several hours to guess the dimensions if there's no any. So I take Realviz Imagemodeler (love this prog.), importing at least 3 images, placing markers, to calibrate camera - and voila... Now I can say - modelling really easy thing, but only when you know dimensions.
But - it still differs from my high-poly experience. These damn boxes arrrrgr
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

      Illusion dispelled, thanks daforce.

Will think of something, indeed. That would be fun.

            Something Like:
A specific topic, 1 week for doing it, then submitting the images, voting.

Prices: Fame and honour + some beers when we meet one day.

All in the mood of having fun, just in some little brakes between the
dull office work of every one.

            How about that ???

                mmmh.
                Rendering involves computing power.
I'm WAY behind normal people just now.
Modelling only would be a lot more level for me :P

Sounds like this topic would best suit the challenge section.
I recon that model could be done in half a day no problem ... it looks pretty simple.

And even if you were given only two not big perspective photos ?

You should seriously check our modo for arch poly modeling.

I probably can model that less than 2 hours with modo. The macros in modo are wonderful for Arch modeling.

(but im sure rhino can do alot of the same, I Hate max/viz poly modeling, its so primitive.)
