We, www.studioamd.com , are working on a proposal for an architectural video presentation to be completed in about a months time. The project is huge, so we wouldn't be able to do a typical animation where everything is realistic with GI, entourage etc. Rather we are thinking about doing more of a sketchy style, with stylized video footage, toon shaded renderings, sketch overs, etc. This could be a pretty nice project and we are going to try to be as creative with this as possible.
All of this would mean less work in 3d and more work in compositing & editing software. Does anybody know of a plugin for Combustion or AfterEffects that can toon style video?
Also, if this goes through, we might be in need of somebody that can freelance in the editing & compositing process. In house would be best, but I doubt that any of you are in the Rhode Island area. If you are interested please send me an email at tnelson2@studioamd.com
