The Position
We are currently welcoming applications for the position of a Junior 3D Max Artist. This junior position will provide an invaluable opportunity to learn different aspects of the industry, with on the job training.
Taylor James is a high profile post production company, based in the media community of Shoreditch. Established seven years ago, this small specialist company have now expanded to offer a full range of creative services. Taylor James works with some of the worlds leading photographers and advertising agencies, on some of the most creatively challenging advertising campaigns. The CGI department, established 1 year ago has already produced some large-scale campaigns. Joining this young ambitious company, the successful candidate will have good long term prospects.
Responsibilities to include:
* 3D modeling, texturing and UVing high poly models.
* Preparing Max scenes for rendering
* Bespoke shader creation
* MaxScript application development
* Project research
* Rendering in a production environment
Requirements:
* Solid working knowledge of Max.
* A working knowledge of VRay, Mental Ray and/or RenderPipe would be an advantage
* Must be a keen 3D artist, up to date with this fast changing industry
* Due to clients varied requirements, must be adaptable and a quick learner
• An independent problem solver and have an eye for fine detail
* Comfortable in a technical and demanding environment
* Desire to help and to support our creative team
* An interest in Photorealism is essential
* Previous industry experience is not essential but would be an advantage
Applicants may be required to complete an application pack, including a test job. Applicants must also supply a showreel and C.V.
