The Position
We are currently looking for a Middleweight 3D Studio Max Artist. Ideally with a range of skills and more than two years professional working experience. This position will provide an invaluable opportunity to learn different aspects of the diverse and creative advertising industry. Joining this young ambitious company will allow you to work on live projects in a team environment. You will be required to manage projects on your own, reporting to senior staff. You will also be taught invaluable skills, techniques, procedures in creating animation and high-resolution stills for a diverse creative client base.
Responsibilities to include:
* 3D modelling, texturing, UVing and Nurbs modelling.
* Animation experience and comfortable creating character rigs
* Preparing 3d Studio Max scenes for rendering
* Bespoke shader creation
* MaxScript knowledge
* Project research
* Rendering in a production environment
Requirements:
* Experienced all-rounder
* Solid working knowledge of 3D Studio Max.
* A working knowledge of Mental Ray, V-ray and/or Render Pipe would be an advantage
* Must be a keen 3D artist, up to date with this fast changing industry
* Due to clients varied requirements, must be adaptable and a quick learner
• An independent problem solver and have an eye for fine detail
* Comfortable in a technical and demanding environment
* Desire to help and to support our creative team
* An interest in Photorealism is essential
* 2 years professional industry experience
