  • time lapse - now to ice age

    Hi all,

Im researching a possible project that would include a sequence where we'd need to show a present day landscape through 1 million years + to an Ice age! The view point would be a static camera showing the ever changing environment/geology.

I sure there must be some graphical examples of this in print, but I cant find them!

I wondered if anyone had come across something that might help the visual side of things as well as the possible stages the landscape snapshot might go through.

    Thanks,

    Mark

Yea - the new "Time Machine". I think they used Terragen to erode the landscape over the supposed eons of time.

The client also gave the original time machine as an example. Have to dig that out!

edit: just watched the 2002 version, nice valley creation! Terragen might be worth a look.
