i7-4670 cpu - any good to use as render node ?

I'm considering purchasing the new i5-4670K to make 5 micro ATX render nodes. Does anyone have any experience with these or similar cpus ? I notice they only have 4 cores but was wondering if the equivalent overall performance was comparable to something like an i7-970 which has 6 cores.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Funnily enough I purchased a helmer cabinet from Ikea for exactly that reason I decided recently I really couldn't be bothered to spend time cutting all those holes and all the other work so I purchased micro ATX cases instead.

I also ended up getting the i7-4770 cpu's. They are quite a bit quicker than my i7-970 main workstation.

Do you have some approximate numbers how much faster? My workstation is an old i7 and I'm wondering if it's time to upgrade...

I have 4x i7 4770 as render nodes and they are render approximately twice as fast as my old i7 920....

I would go for the 6 core...
