The guys at Bottleship vfx are pretty serious too, they've done some seriously large fume and thinking particles stuff over the years so they're damn good particle heads. http://www.bottleshipvfx.com/ or https://twitter.com/Glacierise on twitter to get in touch with Hristo. They're both friends of Oleg that wrote pflow so for tricky things definitely a good bet.
