Photoshop CS6 - Linked Smart Objects (XREF)
Hi all
So this is possible in Photoshop CC, to have a layer as a smart object and that smart object is linked to an external file, almost like an XREF.
I did some searching and found similar functionality in CS6 via scripts and 3rd party plugins. You can find it here:

Does anybody out there know if there is something like this for CS6, that would also let you use a layer mask as an external reference?
Would be great if you setup your photoshop file with all the adjustments layers, masks etc, then when there is an update to the render it just reads the latest elements from a folder and your photoshop file is updated instantly without you doing anything.
