Connecter for Teamwork - free desktop 3d assets library - coming soon!
Howdy!
We are starting this thread, because we're very close to the launch of the first version of Connecter for Teamwork. For those of you, who haven't tried our current version - it's a free desktop software for managing and organizing CG content with lots of extra features, especially for the 3ds Max users. Connecter for Teamwork is the next logical step we are working on - it will allow multiple users to use shared database with models, categorization, etc. Our main goal is to create a tool that is visual, user friendly, saves time and make the collaboration easier. We've launched the first public version about an year ago and we already implemented some the ideas sent by the people who use Connecter. Please, if you want to give us some feedback or have issues, use this thread or send us an email.
p.s.: Connecter works with almost all file formats - it's not dedicated to Max. Thus said, for now, most of the advanced features are available only for 3ds Max.
