Dealing with Spam in Wordpress without Akismet? Advice please
Hi all
I've been receiving a sudden explosion in Spam on my site. It all seems to be automotad bots or something. I catch all for moderation and auto delete from a long list of target words. However each day there's something new.
I don't want to pay for the commercial version of Akismet.
Is there a simple place that shows how to implement the new Google Captcha that works with pictures? There's a couple of free plugins on Wordpress site from guys that implemented the Google Captcha, but there's a sea of info out there and difficlut to go through it if you're not sure which is the correct info.
It's so bad at the moment that I'm considering disabling comments entirely!
