Hello,
I am looking for advice on whether to upgrade Viz to 2006 or keep Viz 4 and purchase Vray advanced (approx. same investment). Network rendering is crucial so some of my questions have been answered by searching the forums here. i.e. Net Render with Mental Ray in Viz 2006 is not possible unless I spend a lot more on render nodes. Brazil is the other alternative but is much more expensive and has the same Net Render bottle neck as Mental Ray.
My primary concerns are 2: Will the current build of Vray advanced (including its network rendering capabilities) work correctly with Viz 4?
And...
Is the advanced Vray version faster than Vray Free?
Thanks in advance........I would really appreciate any advice on this subject because working on a lmited budget as a freelance artist is a pretty big challenge...
