quesstion rgding vray light and material

i am using vray adv 1.09.03n with 3ds max6.

i wanted to exclude the reflection of a particular the light from vray mat applied wall. is it possible to exclude any light from reflection?

another proble i am facing is, the reflection is more intense far from the object and not near the object. what can be the reason behind this?
