Hello.
I am working on the same model I think I've mentioned for several posts now, which includes a wrapping reflecting pool. In the physical model I had built, I spraypainted black paint to the underside of a piece of plexi to offer with smooth, extremely glossy effect and I wanted to carry that into the Sketchup model instead of taking the realism route. But anyways, so the water in my sketchup model has a black glossy plastic material attached to it which looks beautiful, i think, but this reflecting pool also includes a thin runoff and visitors are allowed behind the thin waterfall.
So basically - I am curious as to how I can take the 'falling' piece and add some transparency to it. I've tried hitting the transparency check into the materials edit box, but I think I'm missing something because it generally still renders black.
Thoughts?
