  • VRay overscan and After Effects workflow??

    Hi there.

I've rendered a sequence using VRay's overscan options and saved the frames to EXR. I cannot however seem to find a way to get After Effects to "see" the overscan pixels, and as such my frame is cropped. Resizing the comp doesn't help, as it's the footage that is coming in at the wrong scale (2048x2048, instead of 2048x2304) Both Nuke and Fusion have nodes that can solve this, but I'm not at liberty to use either of those. I've confirmed that the extra data is there, as Photoshop displays the full frame correctly.

I've read through multiple threads on this forum, but found no solution. Is there a workflow/tip/trick out there that can solve this within After Effects?

    Thanks for your time.
    Nigel.
