Can no longer drag into scene...

When I first installed this I could drag stuff into a project but now I cannot.
The only real thing that has changed is that I set a different drive to store them on.
I have made sure I have permissions set.
When I look at the folder it is always read only and cannot be changed.
Is there a solution to this please?

EDIT: Never mind. The magic autofix which normally happens after I press 'Post' has fixed it.
I am beginning to think that the forum post itself just has this uncanny power
