  • Feature suggestion: "Compositions" - saving different variations of visibility and position from objects and lights in the same master file & Issue

    Hi,
the power of Lavina is it's speed and easyness to watch scenes. Great.
But there could be more features, to make much more out of it!!

    a) Please enable separate compositions (like known from Photoshop layer compositions),
which save separately different states of
    - OBJECTS: which object is toggled visible and Positions of objects
    - LIGHTS: visibility and settings of lights (which is possible with vdrx files, but not with a handy composition panel, that allows descriptions and saves everything at one place within the file)
    - Camera Bookmarks
It means I can load lights, but keep objects positions and states, or only bookmarks etc.
And it means I have them all inside my file with two more panels similar to the camera bookmarks, just one more only for light setups and one more only for objects positions/states/material assignemnts.
These should store also the default state at the beginning.

    b) Please enable Sorting of Objects inside groups or folders or containers.

    c) Also it would be of course good, to have in .vdrx files separate control over, what you want to load (or camerabookmarks also to merge)
    - camera bookmarks
    - positions and state of objects
    - light settings
Otherwise a light composition allows not a different object composition and vice versa.

    ISSUE
Currently I can switch visibility off from objects and change position, but not save them "reversible" into .vdrx
(and when I did "save scene settings as default" came an error message "Failed to write settings", but it seemed to have saved though).

    Explanation steps:
When I opened at first the original, an untouched copy from another disc, then it was of course the original. I saved immediately a .vdrx to keep this state.
When I dragged a different .vdrx on it, that changed the visibility and position of some objects, then this changed the state as it should.

BUT: when I dragged the original positions -".vrdx" on it, then the objects did not appear like in the original scene.
This means, the .vrdx must either store positions of any objects
or at least store the original position, too, because there is no way to set it back.

    and another similar issue:
When I just dragged the original VrayScene with "Open" in Lavina - from a different disc but of course with same name, then it did not give me back the orignal scene.
Lavina did not recognize that the scene is different.
So I imagine that Lavina should compare both files (or have an extra mode for this, in case this takes by default much longer), to recognize that objects were changed and reset this, when the original unchanged file is opened.
Otherwise I had to restart lavina first or to rename the first scene.

It took me a while to figure this out, I hope it is possible to recreate...
