  • Anima + Unreal - Huge performance drop

    Hi all,

Im using Anima with unreal, it's a great tool but my problem is that when i want to render the scene with Unreal, it takes literally ages.
I made some test and before i import the Anima scene and animations (there are about 40 of them) in Unreal it's all going ok (framerate, and no warning of video memory exhaust) then, when i import them the message appear (video memory exhaust) and if i play the render cinematic, it takes much too time to render.
What's the issue? Is this a hardware problem?
I feel like that anima animations are really heavy on Unreal cause i made a lot of bigger scenes, and never see the video memory exhaust.
Are there some setting or some build that i need to do?

Another thing, in the preview of my cinematic cuts i can't see the anima characters move, they only move in runtime when i press play. I saw a video tutorial from anima that instead, can make the animations run in the preview without run the game. Are there some settings i missed? There's not much documentation about it.

    Some info:
Anima Scene that i made is all baked
About 40 animations from the anima software
    64 GB RAM
    RTX 2070 Super

Please i need to figure it out fast, some help is appreciated!
Thanks and sorry for my bad english
    Have a nice day
