Today, we are excited to announce we are launching Chaos Player - Pdplayer’s successor.
Chaos Player is actively developed and owned by Chaos and this first release adds new, highly requested features and important improvements.
We’ve added export to MP4 video files, A/B wipes, workspace modes, HiDPI interface scaling, a neutral color theme and OCIOv2 support, and we’ve improved the color precision.
Effective today, we will no longer sell Pdplayer. Rest assured that your perpetual licenses will remain active and at your disposal so you can continue using them for as long as you want.
In case you'd like to switch to Chaos Player, the product is available as an annual term license and it is also part of the V-Ray Collection. Switching to Chaos Player won't take away your Pdplayer perpetual license. Customer support for Pdplayer will continue until January 2023, but there won't be any updates to the product.
